The thinnest cakes with stuffing - by all means try it! Khychiny is a popular dish in our region. I offer you delicious tortillas stuffed with potatoes and cottage cheese. Very tasty!

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 50 min

1. Sift flour into a bowl, pour kefir, pour soda and salt, knead a soft dough. Roll the finished dough into a bun and beat it on the work surface for 5 minutes (my children love to watch this process). The dough will become even softer and more tender. Leave the dough under the cling film for about 20-30 minutes, let it "rest".

2. Peel the garlic, grate it on a fine grater.

3. Boil the potatoes until tender.

4. Mix cottage cheese with hot potatoes and garlic, puree with a masher. Add salt and mix the filling.

5. Divide the dough into balls equal in size. Form the filling into balls of the same size.

6. Stretch the dough into a tortilla with your hands, put the filling. Pinch the edges of the tortilla.

7. Again, flatten the cake with the filling with your hands, then connect the rolling pin to work. You need to act very carefully so as not to tear the tender dough.

8. Fry the tortillas in a dry frying pan (without adding oil) on both sides.

9. Melt the butter and lubricate the hot hychines on both sides.
